Human Recombinant VEGF-165 Protein (Plant):

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), originally known as vascular permeability factor (VPF), is a signal protein produced by cells that stimulates the formation of blood vessels. It is a member of the PDGF family that is characterized by the presence of eight conserved cysteine residues and a cystine knot structure. It is part of the system that restores the oxygen supply to tissues when blood circulation is inadequate such as in hypoxic conditions.

DESCRIPTION:  Recombinant human VEGF-165 produced in plant contains 165 amino acids and
has a predicted molecular mass of 19.2 kDa. The predicted mass of the dimer is
38.4 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the recombinant protein migrates
with an apparent molecular mass of 26-28 kDa in SDS-PAGE.

Recombinant Human ALPP or PLAP Protein (Plant):

Alkaline phosphatase, placental type is a membrane-bound glycosylated dimeric enzyme with a transmembrane domain that is removed in the mature form, also referred to as the heat-stable form, that is expressed primarily in the placenta, although it is closely related to the intestinal form of the enzyme as well as to the placental-like form. 

DESCRIPTION:  Recombinant human PLAP produced in plants has a predicted molecular weight
of 60-65kDA. It does not contain tags.
